A 250-foot topless crane – one of only seven worldwide! – is helping to bring a new addition to Mount Nittany Medical Center to life.
A crane like this has never been used in the United States and, since April, has been working to set the steel for the new 10-story patient tower.
The $350,000,000 project is set to open in the second half of 2026 and will bring all kinds of upgrades along with it, including 168 new private rooms, outdoor space for patients, and enhanced dining and food service.
